Working primarily with figurative painting, my work explores the tension between presence and image. The human figure appears both intimate and distant, suspended between materiality and representation. Across portraits and constructed bodies, attention is drawn to the surface as a site where identity, desire, and perception are negotiated. In an image-saturated culture, these paintings reflect on the fragile boundary between what is felt and what is merely seen.
portraits
Portraits that move beyond resemblance toward presence. Light, gesture, and the material weight of paint reveal a suspended moment in which the subject emerges, somewhere between appearance and inner life.

plastic love
Plastic Love reflects on the seduction of perfect surfaces. Smoothness, polish, and artificial beauty become signs of a culture increasingly defined by images, where the surface remains immaculate and depth quietly disappears.
