Mauricio Suzuki (b. 1988) is a Brazilian figurative artist whose path into painting emerged after a 15-year international career in automotive design. Graduated in Product Design from FAAP (São Paulo), Suzuki worked across different countries before returning to Brazil to pursue painting and draftsmanship full-time.

Self-taught and deeply influenced by the academic tradition, he began painting in 2020, studying the Old Masters and classical techniques. His work is rooted in the human figure, exploring tension between technical discipline and emotional vulnerability.

In a short period of time, his work has been recognized by the Piracicaba Art Gallery (Brazil) and exhibited internationally at the MEAM – European Museum of Modern Art (Barcelona), the Real Círculo Artístico de Barcelona, and the Auditorium of Arroyomolinos (Madrid).
